Robert N. Bergfeld, Jr.
In 2002 Bob Bergfeld and his oldest son, Robert,
formed Bergfeld Land & Minerals Group, LLC.
BL&MG is a full-service broker and can provide
computer generated maps, preparation of 1099’s,
easements and rights of way, oil and gas leasing,
runsheets and curative and all the things you would
expect from a full-service broker.Bob is a graduate of Tyler Junior College and Stephen F. Austin University. A 35-year veteran in the field of oil and gas, he is a Certified Professional Landman and maintains his certification through continuing education. Robert graduated from “Ole Miss” and began his career in 1996 with Powers Exploration and worked as a field landman before becoming partners with Bob.
Both are active members of the East Texas Association of Petroleum Landmen and the American Association of Professional Landmen. Bob has been a director of the AAPL for eight years, serving on numerous committees including the Executive Committee. Robert completed a three-year term as a member of the Education Committee of the AAPL in June of 2005 and has been appointed to the 2005-2008 AAPL Membership Committee. He has served on the Board of the ETAPL and was recently elected for another term. Membership in these professional organizations provides valuable insights and connections in the industry and helps us stay informed of the latest news and developments in the oil and gas business.
BL&MG is currently working a crew of thirty-five Landmen for several companies. We have leased over 120,000 acres in two counties in the Barnett Shale.
